They will share the benefits they have seen from participation in these transparency, + equity labels, and why they encourage others to participate in the conversation.

Rochelle is the Chief Sustainability Officer of Halsted International, Aspecta and Metroflor, leaders in the resilient flooring and decorative products industry. In this role, Rochelle draws from her background in the natural sciences and her passion for environmental and human health. Rochelle is responsible for guiding a comprehensive sustainability strategy at all global operations. She leads the Product Authority Team, whose mission includes Innovative products, unparalleled customer engagement, and outstanding sustainability leadership. Rochelle and her team continue to evolve their market-leading position for the resilient flooring industry in both product and social transparency.
Prior to venturing into the flooring industry, Rochelle led corporate sustainability efforts within the electric utility and the aerospace industries. In these leadership roles, she launched environmental management systems and began engaging diverse audiences in discussions related to sustainability with the intent of generating positive action.
Rochelle earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in geology from University of Georgia before pursuing a Master’s of Science in Public Policy with a focus on Environmental Policy from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which recognized her as the most outstanding alumni in 2015. She is a registered Professional Geologist, a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, a LEED Accredited Professional (O+M) and a Living Building Challenge Ambassador. In 2014, Rochelle was recognized as one of the top 10 most powerful women leaders in sustainability. In 2017, she organized the Women in Sustainability Leadership Alumnae Group, and is now the Chair of that group.
Rochelle continues to seek the truth and supports those that are taking action to address pressing environmental issues, speaking frequently about product and social transparency, and the need for businesses to embrace this mindset.

Since 2009 he has been working with IDM South Tyrol of Bolzano as project manager in the Ecosystem
Construction. Since 2017 he is working also with EURAC research as Chair and project manager of the COST
Action 16114 RESTORE.
From 2010 to 2011 he has been working as manager of the business unit for sustainable products,
contributing to the growth of the Energy and Environment Cluster of Trentino. From 2015 to 2016 he was
co-owner of a startup focused on LEED consulting. In 2015 he co-founded the Living Building Challenge

WELL AP, WELL Faculty, LEED AP BD&C/O&M, LBC Ambassador Presenter, consultant at TRAJECT Adviseurs & Managers, certification of new and existing buildings in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), Living Building Challenge and WELL. Expertise in building health & sustainability, energy technology, - measurement, - cost structures, - saving and management experience.
As a consultant in energy and sustainability at TRAJECT, he gained experience in green building (design as well as operations and maintenance) in sustainable projects in the Netherlands and in abroad countries (e.g. Brazil, Dubai, Hungary, Switzerland). His contribution to project teams are energy technology consultancy, cost calculations, Integrative Design management, management consultancy, integration management, commissioning, maintenance planning etc.
Specialties: Integration of health and sustainability in design and construction of new buildings (Integrative Design) and in operations & maintenance of existing buildings. Intermediation in energy cost allocation to building tenants, energy consumption audits, energy analysis, energy (-costs) reduction consultancy, management consultancy.
Responsible for the recognition of LEED at the Dutch tax deduction program (VAMIL), and advocating LEED in the Netherlands. Awarded USGBC's 2016 Astounding Advocate. Volunteer at Urban Land Institute Product Council Circularity. Responsible for the first LEED certified building in the Netherlands (oct. 2010) and other LEED certifications in international projects.
