Mournland Campaign #37 [Offline]
Welcome to the Mournland. Abandon all hope.
— Old Tim, Bone Collector.
A wall of dead-gray mist surrounds the remnants of a country once known as Cyre. Beyond the mists lie the ruined remains of a land twisted by magic and war, a wound that will not heal. In this horrific landscape, vile magical effects linger and creatures mutate into ever more foul and horrible monstrosities. It’s dangerous. It’s mysterious. It’s also a dungeon the size of a nation, with opportunities for those brave enough to enter the mists.
This is a recurring event for our ongoing D&D campaign set in the Mournland, in the world of Eberron. This is an open campaign with multiple DMs and you can sign up to join individual sessions using Meetup.
Depending on the amount of sign-ups we will host the sessions at someone s home (max 7 people) or at a local community centre (10 or more people). In case of the community centre there is a €2,- fee per player to cover the renting costs. The weekend before the session we will announce the table arrangements, the payment option (community centre only) and the location of the offline session. The announcement will be on Discord and it will be announced using Meetup s group message.
After a long period of playing exclusively online we can play together in person once again. So please make sure you bring your character sheet (either on paper or in the D&D Beyond app) and some dice (if you have them). Also please keep in mind that you don t come to the offline events if you have any possible COVID symptoms like a fever etc. The weekend before the session we will announce the table arrangements and the location of the offline session.
If you signed up for both the offline and online session, we will assume that you are attending the offline session and adjust your status to "not going" for the online session on Meetup. Joining both waitlists is possible, but you will be put at the table which is first available to join. We will remove you from the waitlist of the other session in that case.
All other communication about the campaign is organized via our Discord server at
To learn more about the setting and house rules we use for this new campaign, you can take a look at our Player s Guide at:
If you are joining for the first time, you can create a character on our D&D Beyond campaigns. This is because there is a limit of 12 players per campaign and this helps us keep all the character info centralized. Please only make 1 character if you are joining for the first time. This to prevent the campaign being flooded by dozens of characters.
Once you finished your character, please also post a short description and a picture of your character to the #mournland-characters channel on Discord. If we haven t received your character details 48 hours before the start of the game, we are going to give your spot to people on the waitlist. This is to make sure that we have enough time to prep and we want to avoid no shows.
If you are new to D&D in general or need help creating your character, don t hesitate to ask for help in the #mournland-general channel.
