The love that dare not speak its name - GBQP XI
Will you genderclown-marry us?
"But I am Love, and I was wont to be
Alone in this fair garden, till he came
Unasked by night; I am true Love, I fill
The hearts of boy and girl with mutual flame.'
Then sighing, said the other, ‘Have thy will,
I am the love that dare not speak its name.'"
We don’t believe in institutionalized love, in the love escalator, in the romantic ideal of the one, in valentine-capitalism, in the nuclear family, in blood family over chosen family, in friendship as ‘extra’, but we believe in OUR LOVE.
July 28th, we want to honor the love that dare not speak its name. A love unspoken of, marginalized, outlawed, devalued and forgotten. It’s queer love!
Queer love is amongst us. It’s community, it’s friendship, it’s romance, it’s sex, it’s platonic, it’s intellectual, it’s sensual, it’s digital, it’s us!
We can do it so much better, together.
We present you our dearest lovers:
> all of the
> without YOU we're nothing!
