In a richly decorated classical horse drawn carriage with heavy draft horses with their jingle bells, a joyful ride is made on 15,22 and 27 December with at the end a Fest in the Hunting Hall of
In 't Groene Hout in Wassenaar.

The hall is beautifully decorated. With a crackling wood fire, there are goodies such as mulled wine, hot chocolate and German Lebkuchen. There are romantic miniature villages in the snow.
There is Christmas music, and we listen to the GreenWoods Palace organ, one of the largest dance organs in the Netherlands. On some days the mystical Midwinter horn is blown.

Only in the "Midwinter" season is it, according to traditions dating back to the Germanic joie fest, allowed to sound the age-old and dreary sound of the Midwinter horn. The horn is blown to celebrate the midwinter, the solstice, and to chase away the evil spirits, the "witte wieven ", the sorcerers and ghosts.

Do not miss this romantic Christmas experience !! € 17.50 per person, € 12.50 children under 12 years.
