We invite you to join our 1 day Body Awareness workshop with the aim of developing a deeper connection with the physical body trough movement and stillness.

What are we tapping into?

• Learning to listen and understand the signals of the body
• Learning to ground ourselves with simple techniques
• Bringing awareness to the breath
• Introducing movement meditation
• Learning to create space in the body with movement
• Becoming aware of the importance of stillness (breath) meditation

After starting to develop physical illnesses due to holding onto the past, being attached to my story and constantly victimizing myself, my only chance to heal was to start looking into the connection of the body and mind on a deeper level.

Using the knowledge and wisdom I gained during my journey, I am here to hold space for you while you find your own way to transform toxic patterns, heavy thoughts and emotional blockages into acceptance, joy and gratitude. I am here to help you become aware of your body, embrace your emotions and open up your heart.

From young age I loved to dance, from ballet to hip hop and street dance to salsa. I discovered that I was able to tune in with myself when I was moving my body and I was able to have a conversation with myself. During young adulthood I discovered yoga and started to understand the deeper meaning and philosophy of yoga and meditation. When living in Thailand in 2012, I got introduced to DANCEmandala. I knew immediately that I found a magical practice and tool for life to support myself and my healing journey. All the previous experiences started to make sense. Trough the eye of suffering I found myself in the midst of it all, during the dance, yoga and meditation. Especially during times of depression the practice of yoga and dance helped me to gain more strengt and insight.

These life lessons gave me the ability to translate suffering into healing. Become aware of unhealthy patterns and transform those into self-love and self-care with a sense of lightness and joy. I will be holding space for you to connect to your inner wisdom and discover your own patterns. With gentle guidance and loving care I will create the space for you to explore and dive deeper int your layers.

What is the schedule for the day?

09.00 - Intro and Warm-up

• Understanding what authenticity means and how we can bring it into our daily life
• Briefly introducing the 5 layers of the Being
• Introducing the essence of free-form movement meditation
• Warm-up yoga focussing on body awareness and stability
• Grounding meditation

10.30 - Short break

• Fresh juice, tea, coffee (if you must :))

10.45 - Morning session

• Becoming familiar with our body parts
• Introducing the importance of descriptive sharing
• Moving through tension and finding balance

13.00 - Vegan Lunch

• Design your own wrap / salad :)
• Journaling recommended

14.00 - Afternoon session

• Walking meditation
• Introducing active listening
• Movement exercises

16.30 - Break

• Light vegan dinner
• Journaling recommended

18.00 - DANCEmandala Movement and Stillness Meditation

• a 1.5 hours free-form guided movement and stillness meditation with the purpose of awakening the body's authenticity, moving through any discomfort that may be present, releasing anything that doesn't serve us anymore, deepening the connection with ourselves and finding stillness. During this session you have the opportunity to integrate the tools learned during the day.
