AOCMF Lighthouse Course-TMJ Surgery (with Human Anatomical Specimens) is organized by AOCMF and will be held from Jan 27 - 28, 2020 at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), Leiden, South Holland, Netherlands.
Target audience:
ENT surgery, General surgery, Oral and maxillofacial surgery
Course Description:
The topics will be addressed in lectures, plenary discussions, and practical exercises on human anatomical specimens as well as through computer planning.
Goal of the course:
The goal of this AOCMF Lighthouse Course is to learn the topographic anatomy of the TMJ and its surgical approaches. This course is intended to provide knowledge and experience through which participants will clearly understand and apply the principles of TMJ reconstruction using local and distant autogenous tissues and TMJ prostheses according to AO principles and techniques.
